Over the next seven days, we will be moving all of our clients over to a new server cluster.  There are several reasons for this transition:

1. More power/speed. Our new server clusters are 64 bit versus the present 32 bit system, and have 4x the power.

2. Greater stability/reliability. The new server clusters are phasing out shared file servers (filers) to bring even greater reliability.

3. Cost/environmental savings. The new server clusters are more efficient, saving our hosting provider (and us) money, which allows us to continue to bring you incredible hosting with our complete packages.

While we don't anticipate any major problems, there may be several sites who may experience brief downtime.  We'll be watching everything very closely to make sure that any problems are fixed promptly.  If you encounter anything unusual on your website, email, or any other services, please call or text Jason at 208-790-4739 or send a short email to 911 at firewind productions dot com.

As many of you may have heard, I was recently hospitilized for heart complications.  I just wanted to post an update for those of you who have been inquiring after my health.

I was flown up to Sacred Heart Medical Center on Thursday with a suspected heart attack. They had me stabilized relatively quickly, and watched me overnight until my heart surgeon could be in for cathertization procedure on Friday evening. The cath revealed two blocked arteries; one large and one smaller. They were able to succesffully install a stent in the larger artery but were unable to do anything with the smaller artery, so it was decided to put me in ICU while I rode out the heart attack that was sure to follow due to the blocked smaller artery.

I made it through ICU and the second heart attack without significant damage to my heart and was released back to the normal cardiac wing, where I have been resting comfortably (aside from a migraine) until they discharged me today. I'm home and am counting my blessings.
