Hi, I’m Lindsay Hackwith.

I am a passionate educator with over 12 years designing educational experiences for children. I have a strong background in theater and the arts, which helps me to develop meaningful, engaging, and creative lesson plans that students enjoy. I have a proven track record for maintaining patience and composure during stressful situations, as well as experience handling parental concerns, special-needs children, and high-need learners.

As a professional, certified, and licensed teacher in the modern-day field of education, I promise and firmly believe in treating each child under my care with unconditional postive regard as I guide, listen to, instruct, and learn from my students and their families.

I believe families are equal partners in the educational journey and I strive to positively connect them to the classroom through volunteer opportunities, communication (i.e., weekly newsletters, calendars, apps such as Seesaw, Remind, GoogleClassroom, Class Doj, etc.), conferences, and organizing events to show-off our learning.

I promote high standards of learning and growth within any classroom environment by using:

  • engaging lessons;

  • relevant themes;

  • multiple learning approaches;

  • evidence-based practices;

  • achievable goal setting;

  • clear and defined objectives,
